Nice House: to reference later

Hey gang, what's up, how's it hanging.
What the hell are you two doing?
We're just sitting here looking at his hand.
Well I'm outta here because that doesn't make any sense.
Check out your retard mother and idiot brother, looking at his hand.
But dad, my hand is huge.
Not you.
You're so funny dad. Don't you know some people love me even though I look like I do.
I don't care about them.
Crap I didn't win the lottery.

AVCVideoCap not working

The AVCVideoCap application that’s available in the Developer package from Apple is not working for me anymore. Back last year when it worked fine for me I would have two dialogs after I pressed Capture From Device. It would first ask for a file name and then it would ask for how long I’d like to record. It no longer asks for how long. It goes back to the AVCVideoCap window and lets me know that it “could not open device” in the Capture Status field whereas it used to tell me something about it being either usable or encrypted video.

There are other people having the same problem: DCH3416 not talking with AVCVideoCap 1.06 (avsforums.com).

I’m now looking into other options like using VLC as discussed here: AVCVideoCap and streaming.

Just found this option: FireRecord or iRecord v0.4 (look for the previous versions on the right-side). FireRecord only works in Leopard. iRecord v0.4 works for me in Tiger 10.4.11. Thanks to Ammesset Software.
